Missing SourceSafe Menus in Visual Studio 2005?

Installing VSS 2005 didn’t enable it in Visual Studio for me. Perhaps I did it wrong – I never saw Client Tools as an option. Anyway, once installed:
In Visual Studio, Tools, Options, Source Control… Pick the plugin.
If no plugins are listed, REGSVR32 ssscc.dll and RemoteVssScc.dll (in the Microsoft Visual SourceSafe directory), then they should be.
